Description
The Jungle Parang Machete combines the traditional parang's wide, curved blade with a longer, thinner profile and a pointed tip, making it well suited to cutting dense vegetation, light woodworking, and other outdoor tasks. This style is especially popular in tropical regions, where thick growth can make lighter cutting tools ineffective.
Its 270mm blade is forged from W 1.4116 stainless steel, hardened to HRC 56-58 and finished with a black Idroglider coating, a durable, low-friction, PTFE-based treatment that reduces glare and adds extra resistance to corrosion. At 4.0mm thick, the blade holds up well to repeated heavy use, while the compact 430mm overall length keeps the machete quick to maneuver through overgrown terrain.
The handle is molded from durable black FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon), staying lightweight and secure in the hand even in wet conditions, with hardware finished in nickel-plated stainless steel. Made in Italy, the Jungle Parang Machete ships with a genuine leather sheath for safe carry and storage between uses.
