How Are ARS Blades Manufactured?

ARS blades are manufactured from high-carbon granular spheroid annealing steel. The manufacturing process starts with Marquench Hardening which intensifies the blade’s hardness and durability. Next, the blade is impulse hardened which triples its lifetime while retaining its elasticity.

Afterward, the ARS blade is coated with 2 types of plating: hard chrome and chemical-nickel. The hard-chrome plating prevents rusting and the chemical-nickel plating prevents resin and stains from sticking to the blade.

Finally, the blade is coated with fluorocarbon resin. This smoothes the surface, enhances cutting performance, prevents staining, and ensures resin won’t stick on the blade.
