Description
The Jungle Bolo Machete takes its design from the traditional Filipino bolo, a machete style recognized by its wide blade and pronounced curve toward the tip. That shape shifts extra weight forward, giving the blade natural momentum for cutting through grass, bushes, and small branches in rural or wilderness environments.
Its 280mm blade is forged from W 1.4116 stainless steel, hardened to HRC 56-58 and finished with a black Idroglider coating, a durable, low-friction, PTFE-based treatment that reduces glare and adds extra resistance to corrosion. At 4.0mm thick, the blade holds up to repeated heavy use, while the 440mm overall length keeps the tool balanced and controllable through extended cutting sessions.
The handle is molded from durable black FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon), staying lightweight and secure in the hand even in wet conditions, with hardware finished in nickel-plated stainless steel. Made in Italy, the Jungle Bolo Machete ships with a genuine leather sheath for safe carry and storage between uses.
