Kupilka products are crafted from Kareline® Natural Fibre Composite, a unique biomaterial developed in collaboration with the Wood Technology Centre Puugia in Joensuu, Finland. This composite consists of 50% Nordic softwood cellulose from certified Finnish forests and 50% food-grade polyolefins, resulting in a material that is both eco-friendly and durable. The production process is powered entirely by renewable energy certified by EKOenergy, making Kupilka one of the pioneers in carbon-neutral manufacturing. The company employs efficient waste management, recycling all production scraps back into the manufacturing cycle, and uses sustainable packaging made from recycled cardboard and Finnish plywood.
