The Macho 2 is a full-size machete from Fox Knives, designed for cutting through dense vegetation, brush, and branches during hiking, land clearing, or general outdoor work. Its 290mm blade is forged from W 1.4116 stainless steel, hardened to HRC 56-58 and finished with a satin (Satinato) coating that gives it a bright, classic look while resisting corrosion in humid or wet conditions.
At 3.5mm thick, the blade carries enough weight behind the edge to deliver confident chopping power without becoming unwieldy, and its 445mm overall length keeps the tool balanced and controllable through repeated swings. The handle is molded from durable black FRN (fiberglass-reinforced nylon), a lightweight, impact-resistant material that stays secure in the hand even when wet, and is fastened with nickel-plated stainless steel screws for long-term corrosion resistance.
