Description
The Black Macho 2 is built on the same proven platform as the Macho 2, designed for clearing brush, branches, and heavy vegetation during hiking, land clearing, or general outdoor work. It shares the same 290mm blade forged from W 1.4116 stainless steel, hardened to HRC 56-58, and the same 445mm overall length and 3.5mm blade thickness for confident, controlled chopping.
The difference is in the finish: rather than the bright satin coating of the standard Macho 2, this version's blade is treated with a black Idroglider coating, a durable, low-friction, PTFE-based finish that reduces glare and adds an extra layer of protection against corrosion, particularly useful when working around water or in humid environments. Everything else that makes the Macho 2 dependable in the field carries over, including the black FRN handle for a secure grip in wet conditions and nickel-plated stainless steel hardware.
Made in Italy, the Black Macho 2 ships with a genuine leather sheath for safe carry and storage between uses.
