The Folding Spade is an innovative, patented field shovel that combines high-quality materials with a space-saving design. Its folding handle collapses the tool down to a compact size for storage and transport, making it ideal for situations where pack space is limited, while still extending to a full 600mm overall length when ready to use.
The blade is forged from AISI 420 steel and finished with a black Idroglider coating, a durable, low-friction, PTFE-based treatment that helps resist corrosion during outdoor use. Versatility is built into the design: the blade locks into three different working angles relative to the handle (90°, 135°, and 180°), adapting the tool for digging, cutting, or scraping as the task demands. The handle is constructed from black reinforced Nylon with fiberglass for a strong yet lightweight grip.
The Folding Spade ships in a 1000D Nylon sheath fitted with a MOLLE system, allowing it to be quickly and securely attached to a backpack, belt, or other compatible gear. Made in Italy.
