Woodcraft Bushcraft Splitting Hatchet

The BeaverCraft AX3 is a medium-sized splitting hatchet designed for a wide range of woodworking, bushcraft, camping, and garden tasks. At roughly 335mm (13.2") overall, it's compact enough to carry easily while still delivering the control needed for both splitting wood and finer carving work.
The head is forged from 1066 high-carbon steel, hardened to 56-58 HRC, with a convex grind and curved cutting edge that bites deep into wood for efficient splitting. The Ashwood handle is impregnated with linseed oil and wax for durability and a comfortable, secure grip through repeated swings.
Each AX3 is professionally sharpened and ready to use out of the box, with the blade securely glued and fitted to the handle for a sturdy connection. It ships with a genuine cowhide leather sheath and belt loop, making it easy to carry on hikes, camping trips, or around the garden or workshop.
