TRONC 180mm Atsuba Handsaw
Short-spined 180 mm TRONC Atsuba woodworking pull saw with curved-tip crosscut teeth, some rip teeth, and a striped maple–cherry handle for powerful, controlled cuts in thicker stock.
The TRONC. 180 Atsuba TS245 is a compact woodworking pull saw with a 180 mm thick-blade configuration and short spine, designed for cutting thicker materials while maintaining control and surface quality. The 0.5 mm plate and approximately 0.81 mm kerf deliver a robust feel suitable for cutting along and across the grain, supported by a combination of crosscut teeth and some rip teeth within the tooth line.
A curved-tip tooth profile allows starting cuts on flat surfaces and creating openings in panels, which is useful in interior work, furniture, and general carpentry. The saw is recommended for DIY, wood crafts, carpentry, furniture and musical instrument making, and bamboo work on materials such as laminated wood, general timber, composite panels, MDF, particle board (OSB), plywood, and bamboo.
The natural striped handle is built from layered maple and cherry by craftsmen in Miki City, measuring 190 mm with a hanging hole and secured by an antique-color GB-plated screw that complements its warm appearance. The blade features special surface treatment for corrosion resistance, laser-marked specifications, and impulse-hardened teeth that offer high wear resistance with a resilient core for smooth pull strokes over time.
