The Nakaya K240C Dozuki “Kaisoku” saw is a professional Japanese pull saw engineered for fast, accurate cuts with a refined surface finish. Its 240 mm fine-toothed blade, only 0.3 mm thick, delivers a narrow kerf and excellent control, making it well suited to detailed joinery and trim work where accuracy matters. The rigid back supports the blade to keep cuts straight, even on long crosscuts and delicate shoulders.
This model uses a replaceable blade system, allowing users to swap in a fresh blade in seconds instead of retiring the entire saw. Weighing around 200 g with a comfortable, traditional handle length, it balances light, low-fatigue use with enough stiffness for confident tracking along a layout line. The tooth geometry is tuned for fast cutting performance while still leaving a clean, ready-to-finish surface on both softwood framing and hardwood furniture stock.
