KATANABOY 500mm

The KATANABOY 500mm is Silky's answer to the "man-powered chainsaw." It's currently the biggest heavy-duty folding saw in its class, with a 500 mm taper-ground blade for extended working reach that lets it easily compete with a gas chainsaw on demanding cuts.
The blade's XL Teeth configuration, at 4 teeth per inch (5 teeth per 30 mm), delivers fast, aggressive cutting power for tree trunks and firewood-sized limbs, while impulse hardening keeps the teeth sharp under heavy use. A non-slip, rubberized cushioned handle keeps grip secure through long cutting sessions, and despite its size the saw remains well balanced in the hand. A security screw locks the blade against accidental opening or closing during use or transport.
Folding down to 665 mm for storage and transport, the KATANABOY 500mm ships with a sturdy nylon shoulder bag with Velcro fastening, including an extra pocket for a replacement blade. It's backed by a limited lifetime warranty and made in Japan.
