Summary

Full-sized forest felling axe with a curved 1066 carbon steel edge and long Ashwood handle — built for felling, limbing, and heavy chopping tasks.

Description

The BeaverCraft AX4 is a full-sized felling axe built for serious forest and yard work — felling small trees, chopping wood into logs, limbing, debarking, and trimming branches. At roughly 640mm (25"+) overall with a long, curved handle, it's designed to deliver real chopping power without sacrificing control.
The head is hand-forged from high-carbon steel, hardened to 56-58 HRC, with a convex grind and slightly curved cutting edge engineered to slice deep into wood and cut cleanly against the grain, even through tough timber. The long, curved Ashwood handle is treated with linseed oil and wax, with an end knob that adds grip material to help prevent slippage during vigorous swings.
Each AX4 is professionally sharpened and ready to use out of the box, with the blade securely glued and fitted to the handle. It comes with a cowhide leather sheath and shoulder sling, making it easy and safe to transport to the job site or campsite.
