Compact Bushcraft Carving Hatchet

The BeaverCraft AX1 is a compact, hand-forged hatchet built to handle a wide range of tasks in a small, lightweight package. At roughly 300mm (11.8") overall, it's easy to pack for camping, hiking, or backpacking, yet substantial enough to cut branches, split sticks, chop logs, or help fell small trees.
The head is forged from 1066 high-carbon steel, hardened to 56-58 HRC, with a straight cutting edge and convex grind for a clean, controlled bite into wood of any hardness. The handle is solid Ashwood, treated with linseed oil and wax for durability and a comfortable, secure grip. Each AX1 is professionally sharpened and ready to use out of the box, with the blade securely glued and fitted to the handle for a sturdy, reliable connection.
A genuine cowhide leather sheath with a belt loop is included, protecting the edge and making the AX1 easy to carry in the field, in the workshop, or around the garden. Ideal for bushcraft projects, wood carving, and general outdoor and household use.
