Description
The red Climb Right by Stein oval carabiner brings a high-visibility option to the Climb Right by Stein series, made by STEIN for Spyder Manufacturing's Climb Right line. Red is a common choice for the connector you want to find first: the lanyard attachment, a rescue kit or any point in the system that gets clipped and unclipped throughout the day.
The oval profile is symmetrical from end to end, so pulleys, rope grabs and friction-hitch tenders load evenly on the spine and do not migrate toward the gate. The triple-action locking gate needs three separate movements to open (slide, twist and pull) and locks itself again as soon as it is released, and the KeyLock-style snag-free nose keeps the carabiner from catching on rope or webbing as you work.
Hot-forged 7075 aviation-grade aluminum gives a 25 kN major-axis rating in a connector that weighs only 83 g and measures 115 mm by 65 mm (4.5 in. by 2.6 in.) with a 22 mm (7/8 in.) gate opening. It is certified to EN 362:2004 (Class B connector) and EN 12275:2013 and individually serial numbered. The same oval is also offered in blue and gold if you prefer to colour-code by function.
