Adler WAGNUM Yankee Axe Replacement Handle

This genuine Adler WAGNUM handle is the factory replacement for the 3.5 lb High-Class Yankee Axe. Adler rates it for Yankee-pattern axe heads from 3 to 4 lb (1,400 to 1,800 g), so it also suits other Yankee axes in that weight range. At 80 cm it restores the full-length, two-handed swing that makes the thin-bladed Yankee head so effective for felling and limbing. The handle is turned from original US hickory in Waghäusel, Germany, with the ergonomic shape Adler uses on its High-Class Yankee models. Hickory is tougher and more solid than ash, a good match for a felling axe that sees hard use. It is lacquered with a painted grip end and is kiln-dried and hand-inspected before it ships. Hang the head with a wooden wedge and steel ring wedges, following Adler's standard method. Handle only; the axe head is not included.
