This genuine Adler WAGNUM handle is the factory replacement for the 1.5 lb High-Class Yankee Hatchet. Adler rates it for Yankee-pattern hatchet heads from 1.5 to 1.75 lb (650 to 800 g), so it also suits other Yankee hatchets in that range. At 38 cm it keeps the compact, one-handed feel that makes the hatchet a favorite for kindling, limbing, and camp chores. The handle is turned from original US hickory in Waghäusel, Germany, with the ergonomic shape Adler uses on its High-Class Yankee models. It is lacquered with a painted grip end, kiln-dried, and hand-inspected before it ships. Hang the head with a wooden wedge and steel ring wedges, following Adler's standard method.
