Description
The Silky Woodboy Dozuki is the joinery saw of the Woodboy range, made for dovetails, tenons and other precise cuts where a thin, stiff blade matters. Its 240 mm blade has a reinforced back that keeps it dead straight, extremely fine teeth (32 per 30 mm) and a kerf of only 0.6 mm, so cuts are accurate and the surface needs little or no cleanup. The back limits depth of cut and the blade is not flexible, so it is not a flush-cutting saw.
Like all Silky saws it cuts on the pull stroke, which takes little effort and gives fine control. The blade locks in two positions and folds into the rubber-covered aluminum handle so the teeth are protected between jobs.
