Notch 13" Tri-Edge Saw Blade with Hook

Pole saw blades have a habit of skating out of the kerf when you are cutting at full reach. The Notch 13" Tri-Edge Saw Blade with Hook solves that with a hooked tip that catches the far side of the limb and keeps the blade in the cut, so more of each pull stroke goes into cutting. The hook also comes in handy for pulling cut limbs and hangers free of the canopy.  The blade itself is Notch's popular and affordable 330 mm (13 in.) tri-edge blade. Its razor-sharp three-bevel teeth, about 7.5 teeth per 30 mm, pull-cut quickly through green wood and will handle branches in the 6 to 8 in. (15 to 20 cm) range, while the rust-resistant chrome plating protects the steel from sap and weather and helps the blade slide through the cut.  The hole pattern fits Notch and Marvin pole saw heads as well as other common brands, and most pole and hand saws will take it without alteration. It does not fit the Notch saw head made for Silky Hayauchi and Ibuki blades, which uses a different hole pattern.  If you would rather have a plain tip, the same blade is available without the hook as the Notch 13" Tri-Edge Saw Blade.
