Notch Mondo 15" Tri-Edge Saw Blade

When a 13 in. blade is not enough, the Notch Mondo is the heavy-duty option. Its 15 in. (380 mm) working edge, 17 in. overall, gives you more reach and a longer pull stroke, and the blade is made double thick and double wide so it stays rigid through big cuts instead of flexing or binding. Cutting capacity is about 8 in. (20 cm).  The razor-sharp tri-edge teeth are impulse hardened to hold their edge longer, and the hard chrome plating resists rust and sap while helping the blade slide through the kerf. The blade body is premium carbon steel chosen to resist bending.  The universal hole pattern fits Notch and Marvin pole saw heads and most other common heads without alteration, and the blade also fits the Fanno FI-1700 hand saw. Because of its width, check the hole spacing before fitting it to other hand saw handles. It does not fit the Notch saw head made for Silky Hayauchi and Ibuki blades.  For lighter work or a shorter blade, Notch also offers 13 in. (330 mm) tri-edge blades with or without a hook tip.
