Silky Tsurugi 400 Extra Blade (Medium Teeth)

This is a genuine Silky replacement blade for the Tsurugi 400 hand saw. It is a straight, ultra-narrow 400mm blade whose slim profile slides into tight branch crotches without damaging surrounding limbs. The tooth configuration is 10 teeth per 30mm (8.5 TPI) — Silky's medium pitch, which handles both fresh and drier wood without switching saws. Tsurugi blades are impulse-hardened, so they hold an edge far longer than conventionally hardened saw teeth but cannot be re-sharpened once dull. Silky designs them to be replaced instead: unbolt the worn blade, transfer the two-part rubber grip to the new one, and the saw is back to factory-sharp in a couple of minutes with no special tools. The blade is laser-cut from SK-4 high-carbon steel with non-set, taper-ground teeth and Silky's Mirai-Me tooth geometry, giving four cutting angles on each tooth for a narrow kerf and low resistance.
