Silky Tsurugi Curve 270 Extra Blade (Large Teeth)

This is a genuine Silky replacement blade for the Tsurugi Curve 270 hand saw. It is a curved, ultra-narrow 270mm blade that pulls itself deeper into the cut on every stroke and reaches into tight branch crotches without damaging opposing limbs. The tooth configuration is 7.5 teeth per 30mm (6.4 TPI) — the most aggressive pitch in the Curve range, which rips quickly through fresh green wood and still finishes smoothly in drier or harder limbs. Tsurugi blades are impulse-hardened, so they hold an edge far longer than conventionally hardened saw teeth but cannot be re-sharpened once dull. Silky designs them to be replaced instead: unbolt the worn blade, transfer the two-part rubber grip to the new one, and the saw is back to factory-sharp in a couple of minutes with no special tools. The blade is laser-cut from SK-4 high-carbon steel with non-set, taper-ground teeth and Silky's Mirai-Me tooth geometry, giving four cutting angles on each tooth for a narrow kerf and low resistance. Hard chrome plating protects against rust and sap. This listing is for the replacement blade only — no handle or scabbard is included.
