Silky Tsurugi 200 Hand Saw (Large Teeth)

The Silky Tsurugi 200 is a full-tang straight hand saw built for fast, clean pruning cuts. Its 200mm chrome-plated blade carries Silky's large tooth configuration — 8 teeth per 30mm — the most aggressive straight-Tsurugi pitch, clearing chips quickly in fresh green wood and still finishing smoothly in drier or harder limbs. The impulse-hardened teeth hold their edge far longer than conventionally hardened saw teeth. With no handle screws, nuts, or other hardware, the two-part rubber grip integrates directly with the blade tang, keeping the saw light and well balanced through repeated cuts. At 200mm the blade is the most compact in the straight Tsurugi range, and its slim, aggressive profile slides into tight branch crotches without damaging surrounding limbs. The blade is laser-cut from SK-4 high-carbon steel with non-set, taper-ground teeth, so it cuts a narrow kerf with little resistance. Blades are replaceable and swap out by hand, letting you move between tooth sizes on the same handle. Made in Japan and backed by Silky's limited lifetime warranty against material and workmanship defects.
