Gomtaro 270 Hand Saw (Large Teeth)

The Silky Gomtaro 270 (Large Teeth) combines a longer 270mm blade with Silky’s renowned MIRAI-ME tooth design to deliver exceptionally fast cutting performance in green branches and general pruning work. Its straight, mono-constructed SK4 high-carbon steel blade is hard chrome plated for rust resistance and reduced friction, while the taper-ground, impulse-hardened non-set teeth stay sharp for extended use.​
The saw’s large tooth configuration (8 teeth per 30mm / 7 tpi) is tuned for aggressive cutting in fresh wood up to approximately 135mm in diameter, making it a strong choice for crown thinning, removals, and landscape maintenance. A comfortable GOM rubber handle provides a secure, cushioned grip, and the durable sheath with locking rollers keeps the saw safely in place on your belt when climbing or moving on the ground.​
