Description
The Cutting Spade/Smoother with Straight Edge works like a gouge axe, except it is a little shorter and the sides of the iron taper towards the back.
MHG gouges are created using the latest forging and hardening technology. Over the whole useful length of the chisel, a Rockwell hardness of 61 HRC is guaranteed.
The lightly oiled 300mm handle is made from ash wood that is 40 mm thick, tapering at the front.
The blade has a finely ground, straight edge with a bevel at the top and a flat backside.
