Original LÖWE 9 Bypass Pruner Replacement Counter Blade

On a bypass pruner, the blade glides past a counter blade, and both parts need to be in good condition for a clean cut. Nicks, wear or a rolled edge on the counter blade will show up as crushed or ragged cuts even with a fresh blade. This genuine counter blade restores the cutting pair on your Original LÖWE 9.  It fits every handle version of the Original LÖWE 9 bypass pruner: the 9.104, 9.107 and 9.109. Replacing the blade and counter blade together gives the closest result to a new pruner.  On a bypass tool, the blade glides past the counter blade with minimal friction, which is what gives these tools their clean, flush cuts on fibrous or delicate woody growth.  The counter blade is attached with the centre bolt and can be changed by any user; to confirm your model, check the label on the inside of the handle.
