Silky Tsurugi 400 Extra Blade (Large Teeth)

This is a genuine Silky replacement blade for the Tsurugi 400 hand saw. It is a straight, ultra-narrow 400mm blade whose slim profile slides into tight branch crotches without damaging surrounding limbs. The tooth configuration is 8 teeth per 30mm (6.8 TPI) — the most aggressive straight-Tsurugi pitch, which clears chips quickly in fresh green wood and still finishes smoothly in drier or harder limbs. Tsurugi blades are impulse-hardened, so they hold an edge far longer than conventionally hardened saw teeth but cannot be re-sharpened once dull. Silky designs them to be replaced instead: unbolt the worn blade, transfer the two-part rubber grip to the new one, and the saw is back to factory-sharp in a couple of minutes with no special tools. The blade is laser-cut from SK-4 high-carbon steel with non-set, taper-ground teeth and Silky's Mirai-Me tooth geometry, giving four cutting angles on each tooth for a narrow kerf and low resistance. Hard chrome plating protects against rust and sap. This listing is for the replacement blade only — no handle or scabbard is included.
