Product Features
- Green Wood: Teeth pitch increases toward the tip of the blade, for smooth and easy cutting to start with and a powerful cut as you start using full strokes.
- Replaceable Blade: When you change the blade, you have the cutting quality of a brand new saw. The large tooth replacement blade is GY-R532.
- Folding Saw: The blade can be folded into the handle for easy storage in your tool box.
- Two-Step Angle Adjustment: The handle can be adjusted to two different angles.
- Special Surface Treatment: The blade surface is coated with nickel to prevent rusting.
- Laser Marking: The item number for the replacement blade is permanently marked on the blade by laser.
- Impulse Hardening: The blade is flexible, but the surface is super hard, resisting friction and lasting longer.
- Crosscut Decreasing Pitch: The tip of the blade has bigger teeth pitch. The size of the teeth become smaller closer to the handle.
- Crosscut Blade: Crosscut teeth are made up of two rows of teeth. The edges are extremely sharp, and can cut the wood fiber across the grain, or diagonally. These blades are not designed for cutting along the grain.
- Rip Teeth: This saw has some shorter rip teeth between some of the crosscut teeth. Rip teeth do not cut the material, but dig away sawdust while it's being cut. These help for making rip cuts (parallel to the wood grain) in woodworking, or cutting branch collars while pruning.
- Hijirime: The height of the teeth edges varies across the saw blade, which greatly improves cutting quality. Shorter teeth help remove saw dust.
- Teeth with Sets: Sets are teeth that are slightly bent left and right, to prevent the blade from getting stuck in the material. Set teeth cause the cutting width to be bigger than the blade thickness.
