Fred Marvin Quick-Change Pole Pruner & Saw Combination Package – Fibreglass Adapters

The Fred Marvin Quick-Change Pole Pruner & Saw Combination Package lets you go from pruning to sawing in seconds. Instead of bolting the heads to dedicated head poles, each head is mounted on a Marvin quick-change adapter that plugs into the female ferrule of the pole and locks with the spring clip. Press the clip, pull one head, push in the other, and you are cutting again with no tools and no loose hardware. Because the heads come off, every pole stays 6 ft long and the whole kit fits in a truck lock-box at the end of the day.
The package includes a Marvin PH4 pruner head on a fibreglass adapter, a Marvin saw head on a fibreglass adapter fitted with an S-20 13 in. (330 mm) tri-edge blade, a 6 ft fibreglass mid pole, a 6 ft fibreglass base pole and 14 ft of pruner rope. The two poles give you 12 ft of pole; with the adapter and head in place, Marvin rates the package at 14 ft of pruning or sawing. Add another Marvin mid pole for more height.
The PH4 is Marvin's classic 1-1/4 in. bypass pruner head: cast aluminum with all-steel hardware, about 1 lb 12 oz complete, with a precision-ground hook, a resharpenable high-grade steel blade and fully replaceable parts. The saw head accepts an assortment of pole saw blades from Marvin, Fanno, Corona, ARS and Snap-Cut. Poles are Marvin's orange Professional Series hollow-core fibreglass with a 0.125 in. wall and aircraft-grade aluminum spring-clip couplings.
