Precision Knife PK GH

The Hultafors Precision Knife PK GH is a compact craftsman's knife for the jobs where a full-size blade is more than you need: deburring plastic pipe, carving and whittling, trimming in tight spaces, and other detail work where control matters more than reach. It is the short-bladed member of Hultafors' craftsman's knife range and shares the range's button-mount holster system.
The blade is Japanese knife steel, 2 mm carbon steel hardened to 58–60 HRC. It is a drop-point shape, 75 mm long, and the edge is sharpened in several stages before a final honing on a leather strop, so the knife arrives sharp and ready to work.
The handle is moulded from super-durable polypropylene and fitted with a Santoprene friction grip, the feature that sets Hultafors' GH models apart from the standard versions. The grip stays secure in wet, cold or gloved hands, and the shorter blade lets you choke up close to the edge for fine cuts.
The knife ships in a polypropylene holster with Hultafors' button-mount system: slip a button on your work trousers or jacket through the hole in the holster, pull the holster down and snap the cover firmly closed. It will not work loose while you move, yet it comes off in seconds by undoing the cover. The holster also fits on a belt; if your belt is thick, simply cut away the small pin on the cover. The PK GH fits the same holster as the Hultafors Craftsman's Knife HVK, so it can drop into an HVK holster you already own.
