Specially designed cam-collar locks with rib lock protection clamp each section tight, so the pole holds its position and resists the flexing and twisting that make long-reach cuts frustrating. Ultra-lightweight extruded aluminum keeps the whole saw easy to control overhead, and the abrasion-resistant, low-profile extruded grip gives you a secure hold that shrugs off bark, grit and repeated use.
Up top, the aggressive Silky Hayauchi blade cuts fast and leaves a clean face on live wood and deadwood alike. The quick-connect saw head installs in seconds with no tools, so swapping the blade or fitting the optional Sintung pruner head — rated for a 2 in cutting capacity — never means digging through the truck for a wrench. A custom-fit scabbard is included to protect the blade in transit and storage.
This 21 ft configuration adds a fourth section for five more feet of reach while still weighing only 7.7 lbs, and it stores at essentially the same 95 in collapsed length as the shorter model.
