KASK Superplasma Mesh Visor Carrier

The carrier is the pivoting frame that holds a mesh visor on your helmet. The KASK Mesh Visor Carrier (KASK code WVI00005) is the carrier for the KASK Superplasma Mesh Visor on Plasma, Superplasma and HP series helmets. KASK sources it from Hellberg Safety of Sweden, so the part itself carries Hellberg markings and is the same as the Hellberg Safe 2 Flex Visor Carrier, which means it also accepts Hellberg Safe visors. The two arms slide into standard 30 mm Euro slots on either side of the helmet. If you wear KASK Ear Defender Muffs (SC1, SC2 or SC3), the arms clip straight into the earmuff cups. If you work without earmuffs, fit the KASK Superplasma Mesh Visor Carrier Attachments (sold separately), which give the helmet a 30 mm slot on each side. In both cases the helmet must already have the KASK bayonet earmuff adapters installed. The visor pivots smoothly up into a firm stand-by position and back down to the working position. A rubber seal along the top edge closes the gap between the carrier and the helmet, so rain, sawdust and chips cannot fall down behind the visor. This Flex-style seal is what makes the carrier well suited to brimless climbing-style helmets like the Superplasma. Weight is approximately 56 g. Carrier only. Mesh visor, earmuffs, earmuff adapters and carrier attachments are sold separately.
