Gaupe Knife
The Helle Gaupe is a beloved Scandinavian mid-size knife, named after the lynx, combining elegant design and powerful performance. Its triple laminated stainless steel blade and contoured curly birch handle ensure reliable carving and general outdoor utility for medium-sized hands.
Introduced in 2011, the Gaupe ("lynx" in Norwegian) channels the character of its namesake—beautiful, nimble, and strong. It features a classically Scandinavian shape with a small finger guard for controlled, safe handling. The curly birch handle is hand-shaped and sanded to a satin finish for maximum grip security and comfort, suited to longer outdoor sessions in bushcraft, carving, or hunting. The razor-sharp triple laminated Helle stainless blade (107 mm) is fixed by a stick tang construction, offering robust reliability while staying balanced and lightweight. A genuine leather sheath adds classic protection for convenient belt carry. The Gaupe's styling and utility make it one of the most popular all-rounders in Helle’s lineup.
