Craftsman's Knife RFR GH

The Hultafors Craftsman's Knife RFR GH is the friction-grip version of the RFR, Hultafors' stainless steel general-purpose knife for the trades. It is a plain, dependable fixed-blade knife developed around the way craftsmen actually use a knife on site: opening packaging, trimming, scoring, whittling a wedge, and the hundred small cutting jobs that come up in a working day.
The blade is 2.5 mm German stainless steel hardened to 57–59 HRC. It is a drop-point shape, 93 mm long, and the cutting edge is sharpened in several stages before a final honing on a leather strop, so it arrives sharp and ready to work. Stainless steel makes the RFR GH the choice for wet or outdoor work, or for anyone who would rather not oil a carbon steel blade between jobs.
The handle is moulded from super-durable polypropylene and fitted with a Santoprene friction grip, the feature that sets Hultafors' GH models apart from the standard versions. The grip stays secure in wet, cold or gloved hands, which is exactly when a plain plastic handle is at its slipperiest.
The knife ships in a polypropylene holster with Hultafors' button-mount system: slip a button on your work trousers or jacket through the hole, pull the holster down and snap the cover firmly closed. It will not work loose while you move, yet it comes off in seconds by undoing the cover. The holster also fits on a belt; if your belt is thick, simply cut away the small pin on the cover. The RFR GH fits the same holster as the Hultafors Craftsman's Knife HVK, and it also fits the HVK double holsters.
