Its extra-fine (9 micron / 1200 mesh) continuous monocrystalline diamond surface refines an edge that's already been shaped by a coarser stone. The 8" x 3" x 3/8" stone sits on non-skid rubber feet for stability during use, and works dry or with water — no oil required. Made in the USA and guaranteed not to hollow or groove.
