Notch Rope Runner Pro
The Notch Rope Runner Pro is a next-generation mechanical SRS/MRS climbing device engineered for rope access and work positioning in professional tree care. Optimized for 11–13 mm climbing ropes, it combines smooth one-hand descent, mid-line attachment, and integrated ascent connection points to streamline every phase of a climb.
The Notch Rope Runner Pro is a compact, one-piece aluminum and stainless-steel device that replaces traditional hitches with consistent, tunable friction for modern stationary and moving rope systems. Arborists attach it mid-line to compatible 11–13 mm ropes, using the integrated SRS central ascent harness point for efficient ascent, then rely on the precision-tuned internal spring, concave steel bollards, and sealed bearing pulley for controlled, rope-friendly descent and work positioning. With a working load limit of 308 lb (140 kg) and a weight of 16 oz (453 g), it is built for daily production climbing where ergonomic handling, reliability, and reduced rope “break-in” time are critical.
- Approved for both SRS and MRS tree climbing systems for maximum setup flexibility on a single device.
- Mid-line attachable design simplifies installation and removal without detaching rope ends, improving efficiency aloft and on the ground.
- Multiple friction settings and concave steel bollards provide smooth, predictable descent while minimizing the break-in period on climbing lines.
- Precision-tuned internal spring, improved rounded top, and rope-friendly edges enhance one-hand descent control and all-day handling comfort.
- Integrated SRS central ascent harness attachment point and improved sealed ball bearing pulley support efficient vertical ascent and reduced drag.
- One-piece construction with Slic Pin retention, aluminum and stainless-steel materials, and a 308 lb (140 kg) WLL deliver a robust, professional-grade climbing tool for 11–13 mm ropes.
